What the Visit Costs
Nobody likes an unknown number. Here is how the money part works, in full.
The diagnostic visit
$79 $79
Flat rate for coming out and diagnosing the appliance. It is applied to the repair when you approve the estimate, so if we fix the appliance you are not paying for the diagnosis twice.
First-time customer offer: $39 instead of $79, through the end of this week. Mention it when you call.
You will know the fee before a technician is scheduled. Not after.
Repair cost is separate and depends on the parts and labor the diagnosis turns up. You see that number in writing before anything is fixed.
Your rights on a California repair
- You get a written estimate before repair work begins.
- No additional work is performed without your approval.
- If the technician finds a second problem mid-repair, you are asked first.
- You can ask for your replaced parts back.
- If you decline the repair after diagnosis, you pay the diagnostic fee only.
These are the rules for appliance repair dealers in California. Ask any company you call whether they follow them.
