Sub-Zero Repair in Pasadena, CA
Built-in refrigeration is the bulk of what we do, and Sub-Zero is the bulk of the built-in refrigeration here.
Sub-Zero units use a dual refrigeration design on most built-in models, with separate systems for the refrigerator and the freezer. That is why one compartment can be perfectly cold while the other is warm, and it is also why a fault in one side is not evidence of a fault in the other.
The other thing worth knowing before you call anyone: these units are designed to be serviced in place. On a sealed-system repair the honest question is not only what it costs, but whether the unit is far enough along in its life that the money is better spent elsewhere. We will give you that read, and it is not always the answer that sells a repair.
What we get called for
- Refrigerator side warm, freezer side still frozen
- Ice or frost building on the back wall of the freezer
- Water pooling under the unit or inside the crisper
- Condenser fan noise, or a compressor that runs without cycling
- Ice maker stopped filling or stopped ejecting
- Control panel unresponsive or showing a service code

Cost and warranty
Flat $79 diagnostic, applied to the repair when you approve the estimate. No repair work starts without your written approval, and every completed repair carries a one-year warranty on the labor and the parts we install.
An independent repair company
We are not authorized by, affiliated with or endorsed by Sub-Zero. We repair these appliances; we do not represent the manufacturer. If your unit is still inside the manufacturer's own warranty, calling Sub-Zero first is usually the cheaper move, and we will tell you that.
